THIS SUNDAY - 2 SERVICES | 9AM & 11AM

We are so looking forward to reopening and being together again this Sunday, for 2 services at 9AM & 11AM at Emerson Academy. We know the changes we're implementing may be comforting for some and uncomfortable for others, but the purpose is so that as many of our people as possible can begin joining us safely again in person! :)

REMINDER OF CHANGES

• Wearing a mask is encouraged, and we will provide extras if you don't have one. Masks aren't required for those attending, but we are asking our greeters and ushers to wear one while serving. Remember the purpose of wearing a mask is to help protect others!

• Veritas Kids will be closed, but children are welcome to attend the service with their parents. Services will be shorter than usual (60-75 minutes).

• Seating will be spread out; each household will wait to be assigned seats by an usher so that we can maintain proper physical distancing, and will be dismissed by row at the end.

• Seats and surfaces will be sanitized between services. Additional ways we are trying to keep our congregation safe can be found at veritasdayton.org/phase2

COMMUNION

We are greatly looking forward to partaking in The Lord's Supper together again! To do so, we will be using pre-packaged communion cups, which include a wafer and juice. You'll peel off the top clear layer to get to the bread, and then pull off the second purple layer to get to the juice! (see video below). Communion will be served at a table before you enter the sanctuary. If you are a baptized follower of Jesus, take a pre-packaged cup from the table as you enter, but wait to partake until the pastor leads us together during the service.
