Spring Semester of Sunday School starts on January 18!

This theology class is designed to be entry level and suitable for any Christian, but may be particularly helpful to newer Christians. Theology simply means the knowledge or study of God. Theology is for all of us, not just those who are natural academics or those who enjoy reading. It’s crucial for us all to know what we believe so that we might live in light of it and share it with others. Young adults 16+ are welcome to attend if they have already completed two years of catechism class.

Join us for a practical and encouraging Parenting Workshop designed to help you lead your family in meaningful, Christ-centered worship at home. We’ll explore simple ways to build a rhythm of family devotions, as well as the biblical “how and why” behind having children participate in our Sunday morning gatherings. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to strengthen your current routines, this workshop will equip you with tools to be faithful and renewed confidence as you disciple your kids.

Childcare will be available for kids up to age 4, and dinner will be provided!

We invite you to Join us for our Eve of the Eve worship service on tomorrow evening, December 23rd, at 6:30pm.

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, we’ll gather for an evening of song and Scripture, reflecting together on the good news of Christ’s coming.

🍪 Following the service, we’ll enjoy a time of fellowship with a cookie reception. Please bring a plate of cookies to share as we celebrate together!

On December 9, we will gather at the No Longer Strangers ministry house to bring practical items to aid their ministry (Click here to contribute!)

At NLS, we will have the opportunity to:

- hear about their ministry to refugees in our city and how we can get involved listen to testimonies from refugee women who have been changed by God’s mercy through NLS

- work together to package the items we have donated for distribution

- pray together for the ministry of NLS and for refugees in our city

Daughters age 10 & up are encouraged to attend. If you have a daughter under the age of 10 who you believe would benefit from attending, just let us know!

We’re excited to celebrate the end of the year together with good food and great fellowship! We’ll meet at 4:00pm, and afterward, we’ll enjoy a time of fellowship with a potluck dinner—please bring a favorite dish to share! If your dish needs to stay warm, please bring it in a crockpot.

ChurchFunerals Direct specializes in conducting funeral and memorial services in churches rather than funeral homes, drastically reducing costs while providing a more intimate and comfortable experience.

They will be hosting a brief seminar and Q&A right here at Veritas on November 30th at 8:45am. Join us to learn more about their mission, and what they’re doing for families in this area and beyond, as well as what the Bible has to say about funerals.

The Lord has blessed us richly this year by giving us our church building—and it’s time to clean it up as we head into the winter months! We are having a church-wide cleaning day on Saturday, November 15. Cleaning will take place between 9:30am-3:00pm. Come for the whole day or just drop in as your schedule allows—every helping hand makes a difference! Lunch will be Provided!

Backyard Bible Club is back with a new format this year! On June 11th, kid’s ages 5-8 are invited to come play, explore, and learn about the free grace of God with Pirate themed activities, crafts, songs, and Bible lessons. 10:00am-2:00pm at the Drake’s house. Lunch will be included!

We invite you to come celebrate Christianity’s central claim - the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. The ancient scriptures promised a savior, and Jesus is the fulfillment of every promise. In him we find true hope and rest for our souls!

We will be holding our Good Friday service on 4/18 at 6:30PM. We will spend our time together meditating upon Christ’s work for us on the cross as we hear the crucifixion narrative and sing together!
