WORSHIP & LITURGY

Veritas Community Church is a family of Christians that gather together every Lord’s Day morning to participate in the liturgy of God’s people.  Liturgy is simply what people do when they come together.  Our Gathered Worship Liturgy is modeled after what we see God’s people doing when they gather in the Bible which includes the public reading and preaching of Scripture, the administration of baptism and communion, and the response of God’s people in prayer and praise.

Since Veritas’ Sunday Gatherings are not a performance, but a participation of all people, we can all prepare for the Gathering by reviewing the liturgy ahead of time and praying that God would use it to build us up as his church.  We can also continue to worship God as a church throughout the week by participating in Family Worship and Private Worship in our homes, as outlined in their liturgies below.
